ADT System Tips
ADT wants to rule the world
You don't just leave ‘security of your home' to chance and if you had it right, you'd want to invest in a reliable and cost-effective home security system like an ADT home security system to ensure the safety of your dwelling. Home owners need to spend some time looking around and digging through the details of the features of a home security system before grabbing one off the shelves.

And without a smidgen of a doubt, the ADT home security system is sitting right there at the top of the list of the most reliable home security systems a home owner can ever wish for!
The how, when, what and why of ADT home security
ADT, the company, has been around for a long time; ADT was first launched in 1901 and we can safely say that a company with that kind of track record and history should know just about everything there is to know about home security systems. The way I see it, if you had to trust a machine or a program to secure your home, it's better that the machine be an ADT home security system than anything else. Based on the reputation and quality of the home security systems by ADT, you'll find it hard to believe that ADT once faced a problem managing their 57 district offices. You see, in the beginning, all the district offices for ADT operation separately and independently. This led to quality control problems and management control problems. ADT did not take this likely and changed the rules of the game – and that's a good thing too.
ADT taken over
In 1909, after ADT has been in the market for nearly a decade, ADT (together with Western Union) came under the protective arm of AT&T. AT&T President Theodore N. Vail took over the reigns of AT&T in 1910 and changed the direction of the business. From then on, ADT concentrated fully on the signal business.
ADT takes over the US market
And from then on, there is no turning back. ADT was synonymous to emergency call systems between 1910 - 1930. With sound footing in its originating country, ADT started to set its sights beyond geographical boundaries – the International market. To gain a foothold in the International market, ADT employed different marketing and informational techniques. New add-ons, new technology, faster products, more efficient systems, a stable and reliable home security system. And by the time ADT celebrated its 100th Anniversary, home security systems like the ones that ADT was producing replaced the old telegraphic call boxes.
In 1998, Tyco took over ADT from AT&T and now ADT dominates the residential and commercial market with a historical coverage of 230 major US markets. It's just a matter of time that ADT starts going for the rest of the world.
