• Physically bolt down the PC to a table so that it can't be casually lifted and taken away.
• Have likeable cupboards for floppies and keep them locked at all times, except when used.
• Keyboard & PC locking devices can be fitted so that the PC cannot be operated unless these locks are opened.
• Use a lockable room for your PC & make it a practice to lock the room when leaving it for even a short time.
• Make your system password protected, your password should be unique.
• Anti-virus programs protect your computer, so one should install & use Anti-virus programs to have a secured PC without any effect of viruses.
• Be careful while reading mails with attachments. Don't open anonymous mails.
• A strong firewall is recommended for every PC.
• Keep a backup of important files & folders and it should be a regular practice.
