Fire or mis-Fire

Fire is essential in everyday life but the misuse of it could drag you into a pitiable situation. You can lose your life's earning within minutes. So always be prepared for such situation and be cautious in daily life to avoid them.

People living their own house or in the apartment they should provide fire safety to their home, they should take some fire safety precautions. If you are staying in your own residence fire safety is your own responsibility. But if you are living in an apartment it's the responsibility of own tenants to keep their apartment safe from fire. The smoke alarm will wake up the members before inescapable. If you are living in an apartment, ask your landlord to install a smoke alarm immediately. You should be aware of the location of the fire alarm system in your apartment & u should know how to use the alarm. All the tenants in the apartment should conduct a meeting about fire safety. Everyone in the apartment should know how to use the alarm at the time of urgency.

Till now smoke alarm were not even installed in many home that had fires. Though some people use smoke alarm but don't maintained it properly. Alarm should be maintained properly, it should be checked once in a month. Don't keep the batteries in dead condition, replace the battery when required, clean the alarm properly and vacuum the dust as it can block the openings of the sensory device.

Proper wiring system a also required to avoid fire mishaps. If there is any problem you can rectify it with the help of your local building inspector. Check all the electrical cords working properly or not, if there is any problem replaces them with new cords.

Always keep the phone number of your local fire department at reachable place, so that in case of emergency you can call them immediately.
